This election we ran a write-in campaign. This was an eye-opening experience which allowed me, as a candidate, to better understand the issues facing our District and the needs and wants of our community. It was always supposed to be an uphill battle against the Chicago Political Machinery, the Democratic Establishment and the well-established and politically-connected Team Schakowsky (Jan and her husband, Robert Creamer), but we had hundreds of constituents write us in in on election day on March 17, 2020! I am humbled to be receiving this nomination from our constituents. I would like to thank everyone that has supported this campaign and for the hours spent by volunteers in supporting me and most importantly believing in me. Let us stay assured that we are winning the ideological war and that one lost battle only makes us stronger! THE GOOD FIGHT CONTINUES
